Diana: Today I planted bougainvillea before Josh's Dr.'s appt. Then we went and visited fire pits and places for the back yard. The debate is on over the pit or the place.
Josh: I think I'm liking the pit. Also - the bi-annual mole patrol came out clean.
Diana: I hope everyone had a fun and safe St. Patrick's Day!
Josh: St. Patrick's Day was fun. Diana having beer is a new development, one which I am quite excited about.
Diana: We are trying really hard here to conquer a giggle fit. :P
Josh: The beard... it is out of control.
Diana: Today I was reading/researching and baking. Ahh, modern domesticity you have not changed much!
Josh: That nerdy thing in my ear is nerdier than you think - it is not a Bluetooth headset. It is an XBox Live headset.
Diana: Today was a great day for accomplishing things. Groceries, check. Clean house, check. Relaxing evening in with a movie, check.
Josh: I worked on three of my twenty-eight projects. That is a good day for me!
Diana: We're still on track with weight watchers even though we ate at McDonalds tonight. I can't remember the last time we ate there before tonight!
Josh: I have this problem with light sensitivity. My eyeballs get tired from taking a few pictures, and now I think I have developed this instinctive head-turn when pictures are happening, and it makes me look like I'm an irrepressible jerk sometimes. I promise, I am very pleasant. And ribald.
Diana: It's rainy outside. But cheerful inside as everyone rushes to greet me as I get home!
Josh: Is it strange that so much joy can be derived from little autonomous beings wandering around your house?
Diana: I spent the better part of the evening kicking it in the library. It's louder than I remember.
Josh: Starting to look like it is Haircut O'Clock for me.
Diana: This was the only photo we took all day. We were at the mall in Lewisville having treats after Josh's doctor's appt. Yes, I wrote down all 8 points!
Josh: Diana is wonderful about cheering me up when I get blue.
Diana: Sunday at Berthume House is often laundry and groceries and family. :)
Josh: I can't decide if this picture of me is awesome, or hilarious, or both.
Diana: I decided that those iris blooms needed a home renovation! Here is the progression and how I spent Saturday. :)
Josh: I did not contribute to this - I was working on my thesis - but Diana did an amazing job out front. Next weekend, I am apparently being put to work.
Diana: Last night we watched the watchmen. Here we are at the end of a long Friday with about 3.5 hours of sleep!
Josh: That movie was amazing. I don't care that a ton of MSM reviewers hadd out the anti-nerd knives.
Diana: Today we saw our first bloom!
Josh: Here come some very beautiful spring Texas days. I love this time of year.
Diana: We cleaned the carpets this weekend. Just look at these spoiled cats on "the new animal couch" Molly looks on.
Josh: We're thinking of ripping up all the carpets and putting a finish on the cement, with rugs. People do it, it isn't weird.
Diana: Josh never seems to be ready to take a photo until the end of the day. Today we "hit the gym" and I am no longer camera ready!
Josh: I appear to my public at the time of my choosing!
Diana: Last week we started going to the gym. This Saturday I went to my first weight watcher's meeting and this is a 4 pt breakfast!
Josh: A delicious 4 pts. Who knew that carrots and egg whites would go well together?
Diana: We transplanted these Iris bulbs from my mother in law's garden last spring. This is our first bloom!
Josh: The front bed small bed is sort of magical in how it can grow things from my mother's garden to enormous proportions.
Diana: Tonight we saw the Street Fighter movie with DJ, my brother. What is wrong with Chris Klein!?
Josh: I hate Chris Klein. He is the only actor to ever make a fabulously bad movie less fun because of his extraordinary badness.
